A graduate of the Educational Program 6B02303 “Translation Studies” possesses key, general professional, and professional competencies. The graduate has skills in translation and organizational activities, is able to systematize and generalize information, prepare briefs and reports on issues of professional activity, as well as edit, summarize, and review texts.
The graduate performs professional written translation of official and business documentation into English and German and conducts expert analysis of documentation intended to develop business, cultural, and diplomatic relations between Kazakhstani enterprises, institutions, and companies and their foreign partners.
The graduate is capable of preparing informational brochures, advertising booklets, and other information and analytical materials in Russian and English aimed at promoting the interests of domestic enterprises and organizations abroad, as well as providing protocol support for officials and performing oral interpretation of speeches on issues related to trade and economic, socio-political, cultural, and country studies topics.
