The Tutor Volunteer Project
A pool of 570 volunteers has been formed within the walls of our university. Volunteer activities at M. Kozybayev NKU are carried out in various directions: Volunteering in youth organizations, Event volunteering, "Labor landing", Consulting, etc.
The Tutor volunteer project is aimed at helping children from poor families who have difficulty learning English, but unfortunately are unable to pay for tutoring services. As well as for the development of professional competencies of volunteers who have success in this subject, and also plan to link their future with teaching professions.
Tutors help the children with homework, explain the material that the children missed or did not understand in the lessons.
Students get into our project at will. The tutor's task is to find an approach to children, to interest them, to make friends and to create a comfortable and motivating environment during classes. In the near future, we plan to increase the staff of volunteer tutors who will teach children not only English, but also German and Kazakh languages for free.
