Folk-ethnographical ensemble “Sherter”
| The folklore and ethnographic ensemble "Sherter" was organized in 1999. The first leader of the ensemble became senior lecturer Mukataeva J.A., which determined the direction of the group's performing activities: popularization of Kazakh folk and professional music, revival of the sound of ancient Kazakh folk instruments. In 2004, the leadership of the ensemble was transferred to Zh. Kabdulbariev, who introduced ancient Kazakh musical instruments into the ensemble: sazsyrnai, ADYRNA, sybyzgy, sakpan, Kyl kobyz, shankobyz, dabyl, dauylpaz, asatayak, tuyaktas. With the introduction of the Zhetygen instrument, a new flavor of sound appeared in the ensemble, which gave a soft and melodious sound. New pieces were selected for solo performance on this instrument. | ![]() |
