On the anniversary of the great Abay
Students and staff of the library of the M. Kozybayev NKSU took part in an international online conference dedicated to the 175th anniversary of Abay Kunanbayev.
Employees and readers of The Regional youth library named after I. Varavva, Krasnodar (Russia), and The Library for youth of a name of B. Shakhovsky, Astrakhan (Russia), City library-branch № 9 named after Yanka Kupala, Mogilev (Belarus), Regional youth library named after Zh. Bekturov, Karaganda, Shemonaikhin Central district library (East Kazakhstan region).
Students read the works of Abay. Our future journalists and managers showed excellent knowledge of the work of the famous poet. There were poems, The Book of Words, and songs. Library Director Asiya Bisembayeva noted that the University has planned a number of events dedicated to the anniversary of the great Kazakh classic.
During the conference, an International Internet competition "Abay murasy. K Abay..." was launched.
