Our Students Attended a Demonstration Court Hearing
Students of Kozybayev University attended a demonstration court hearing in Petropavlovsk, where the verdict was announced for two former servicemen of a military unit and a cadet of the Academy of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan. On August 9, 2025, after drinking alcohol together in a café, they inflicted bodily injuries on two civilians.
The live broadcast of the court session allowed students to clearly see the consequences of violating the laws of the country and engaging in criminal activity.
The students were also shown a video from the scene of the incident, where in their final statements the defendants acknowledged the extent of their guilt. During the announcement of the verdict, the room was silent as the young people listened attentively to every word spoken by the judge.
The event was organized with the aim of developing legal culture among the younger generation, preventing offenses, and increasing the level of legal awareness among students.
The demonstration trial was organized by the Petropavlovsk Prosecutor’s Office, which makes a significant contribution to the prevention of offenses among student youth.
