Large-Scale Career Guidance Outreach in the Southern Regions of the Country

Faculty members and staff of the Admissions and Recruitment Office of Kozybayev University are carrying out extensive career guidance activities in the southern regions of Kazakhstan, in particular in the Turkestan Region, as well as in the cities of Shymkent and Kyzylorda.

Prospective students were provided with comprehensive information on admission to the university, study conditions, and accommodation in student dormitories. It is worth noting that, thanks to the opening of two modern Student Houses, the university has achieved 100% dormitory accommodation coverage, with even a surplus of available places. In addition, the campus is equipped with a new academic and laboratory building, modern co-working centers, and all the necessary facilities and equipment to ensure a high-quality educational process. Applicants and their parents received detailed consultations on relocation to Petropavlovsk, accommodation options, and adaptation.

During the meetings, special attention was paid to the presentation of dual degree programs implemented in partnership with the University of Arizona.

As representatives of the career guidance team emphasized, Kozybayev University actively involves students in international research projects, grant-funded programs, and industrial internships, and also maintains close cooperation with major enterprises of the region, which helps ensure a high level of graduate employment.

This career guidance initiative is an important step aimed at opening up opportunities for young people from the southern regions of Kazakhstan to obtain high-quality higher education and pursue professional development at the international level.
