Republican Forum “Adal Bilim – Adal Urpaq”

Today, on the International Anti-Corruption Day, the Republican Forum “Adal Bilim – Adal Urpaq” was held at Maqsut Narikbayev University. The initiative was launched by the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, with the League of Academic Integrity serving as the ideological inspiration.

The key outcome of the event was the signing of a Memorandum between the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, and the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as the approval of a roadmap for the further development of academic integrity.

All these documents are aimed at creating a unified, sustainable, and transparent environment of academic integrity within Kazakhstan’s educational system.

Our university was represented at the forum by Aigul Nurpeissova, Member of the Board for Academic Affairs. Kozybayev University has been a member of the League of Academic Integrity since 2018 and has consistently been fostering an honest, transparent, and sustainable academic ecosystem. We have implemented several unique projects, including:

- the implementation of the adASTRA system for depersonalizing written examinations through QR codes, ensuring transparency and objectivity in assessment;

-  a personal online dormitory accommodation system that allows students to submit applications and choose a dormitory and room entirely online.

Our university continues to move forward. New initiatives and exciting projects aimed at further strengthening academic integrity lie ahead. Kozybayev University acts as a flagship institution in shaping an anti-corruption mindset and a culture of academic integrity among the youth of the region.
