Intellectual Game Dedicated to the International Anti-Corruption Day

An intellectual brain-ring game titled “Anti-Corruption Mindset and Academic Integrity” was held at the university in celebration of the International Anti-Corruption Day. Students from all faculties of the university took part in the event.

The participants were welcomed by Erzhan Karymsakov, Head of the Department of the Agency for Civil Service Affairs of the Republic of Kazakhstan for the North Kazakhstan Region. In his address, he emphasized that today the university stands at the forefront of shaping an anti-corruption mindset and fostering academic integrity among the youth of the region.

The brain-ring consisted of five rounds. Participants answered questions on anti-corruption topics, explained key terms, and identified mistakes in proposed case analyses. A particularly engaging round challenged students to identify films depicting corruption-related situations. At a separate stage, team captains competed by delivering speeches on the topic: “Why can youth become the main driving force in the fight against corruption?”

According to the results of the intellectual game, third place was taken by the Faculty of engineering and digital technology, second place went to the Faculty of history, economics and law, and the winners of the brain-ring were students of the Faculty of mathematics and natural sciences. Congratulations to all participants and winners!
