Awards Presented for Contributions to the Development of Corporate Governance

At a meeting of the Board of Directors of our university, a formal ceremony was held to present awards from the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan.

On November 25, Corporate Secretary Day is celebrated in our country. In honor of this occasion, corporate secretaries and members of the Boards of Directors of Kazakhstan’s universities were presented with awards.

The Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Sayasat Nurbek, decided to commend our independent directors—Anatoly Bashmakov, Didar Smagulov, and Alibek Khussainov—for their contribution to improving corporate governance in educational institutions, as well as for their dedication and high level of professionalism. The awards were presented by the Chairman of the Board of Directors of Kozybayev University, Galym Baytuk.

A special honor was the recognition of Corporate Secretary Marina Pogrebitskaya. She was awarded the “Gylymdy damytuga sinirgen enbegi uşin” badge of distinction for her contribution to the development of scientific and methodological foundations of corporate governance, the strengthening of governance culture within the educational institution, and her high level of professional competence.
