Islam Evloev Wins Silver Medal for Kazakhstan in Riyadh

Islam Evloev, a Greco-Roman wrestler and student at Kozybayev University, won the silver medal at the Islamic Solidarity Games in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

Islam showed an outstanding performance in the under-87 kg weight category, reaching the final. In the decisive match, he faced Gholamreza Farokhi from Iran. In a hard-fought contest, the Iranian proved stronger with a score of 6–0, and our athlete secured the prestigious silver medal at the international tournament.

Islam Evloev is a student in the Department of Physical Culture and Sports, group PhCS-22-1. It is worth noting that he has previously won titles at the U20 World Championship, the Asian Youth Championship, the XIII Summer Universiade of Kazakhstan, and other national competitions. This is his first time participating in the Islamic Solidarity Games.
