Talk Show Brings Together Hosts of Popular Student Podcasts

On International Students’ Day, Kozybayev University hosted a talk show where students had the opportunity to interact with the hosts and guests of the university podcasts “Student Story” and “KU Talks.” The event was organized by the Department of the Assembly of the People of Kazakhstan in collaboration with the Department of Journalism and social sciences and the University Marketing Office.

The open interactive platform for live dialogue with students who became the stars of popular university podcasts brought together the most prominent participants of the student media community. They shared their personal stories and experiences of studying at the university.

Podcast hosts Chingiz Shitkanov and Olzhas Mukhtar shared their experience in creating media content and revealed what happens behind the scenes—funny, inspiring, or challenging moments during recording, what life is like for today’s students, and what serves as a source of their motivation.

The show featured podcast participants, including musicians, athletes, activists, international students, and students from the International Campus. Students who asked the most interesting questions to the hosts and podcast guests were presented with souvenir gifts.
