DMITRY DINER WINS BRONZE AT THE QAZAQ KURESI WORLD CUP

The Qazaq Kuresi World Cup has concluded in Turkestan, bringing together around 100 wrestlers from 14 countries. The world’s top athletes competed on the mat, demonstrating agility, strength, endurance, and determination. Competitors were divided into eight weight categories.

Representing the national team was Kozybayev University student Dmitry Diner. Over the course of the tournament, he fought four bouts, securing three victories and suffering just one defeat. As a result, Dmitry claimed the bronze medal in the under 82 kg weight category.

Achieving such a result at a prestigious international tournament is a significant accomplishment for the entire region and serves as strong motivation for young people to engage in sports.
