Students Played "Börik Teppek"

The promotion and popularization of the national game "Börik Teppek" among student youth in the North Kazakhstan region, cultural integration, and the enrichment of the Kazakh people's heritage, along with the promotion of a healthy lifestyle, are the main goals of the sports event. The competition took place with the support of the regional branch of the "Bolashak" party of AMANAT.

"Börik Teppek" is a national game. According to the rules, participants line up in a row and take turns throwing a heavy stuffed ball over their heads. The person who throws it the farthest wins. Each team consisted of 3 members (2 boys and 1 girl) from each faculty. The results of all team members were summed up to determine the winner.

Today, the winner was the Faculty of Agro-Technology! The second place went to the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law. The third place went to the Institute of Language and Literature. In the individual competition, the best result among the boys was 10 meters 27 centimeters, achieved by Karim Mukashev, a student from the Faculty of History, Economics, and Law. Zarina Zhalmagambetova threw the ball 8 meters 7 centimeters. All winners and prize-winners were awarded diplomas and commemorative prizes.
