Today at the university, we are celebrating Körisu Day – the Amal Holiday! On this day, it is a tradition among the people to say kind wishes, pay respect to the elders, and celebrate the arrival of spring. Each faculty prepared a table with fragrant baursaks and other baked goods. Everyone was treated to traditional Kazakh tea. People greeted each other with hugs. The event also featured national traditions, dances, and musical performances.
The Chairman of the Board – Rector Erbol Isakaev visited all the faculties with greetings, wishing prosperity, happiness, good health, and success! On this bright day, the university was filled with warmth and mutual care!
March 14th has traditionally been considered the beginning of the new year among the Kazakhs. According to tradition, exactly one week before the spring equinox, they would count their livestock, rejoice that the long winter was finally over, visit each other, discuss losses and new births, and prepare for the celebration of Nowruz.
We congratulate everyone on the Amal Holiday! May joy and blessings come to your homes with the arrival of spring! May the kind wishes spoken on this day come true, and may all your dreams be fulfilled!
