Today, the university hosted the final Open Day for schoolchildren. We remind you that we have been conducting career guidance events in this format for 2 months. During this time, about 2,000 students from urban schools and districts of the North Kazakhstan region have visited us.Ruslan Emelbayev, Adviser to the Minister of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, took part in the Open Day today. He, together with the Chairman of the Board, Rector Yerbol Isakayev, met with applicants and spoke about the prospects of studying at the university, which is leading a strategic partnership with a top foreign university.
"You are doing a lot of career guidance work. We visited the districts of North Kazakhstan region and the cities of Kazakhstan. And now, rural children have been given the opportunity to see the university firsthand, to get acquainted with the prospects that open up to students. The EOM of the Republic of Kazakhstan has established 23 strategic partnerships with foreign universities. It is planned to conclude 11 more such partnerships in 2025. Within their framework, joint double-degree programs are being launched. And one of these projects is a collaboration between M.Kozybaev Moscow State University and the University of Arizona. This opens up unique opportunities for students: studying in the United States, obtaining 2 diplomas, and completely free tuition through grants," Ruslan Emelbayev said.
The students got acquainted with the university's faculties, laboratory facilities, student organizations, creative teams, and sports sections. They took part in interactive contests and received cool prizes from university partners. Ahead is the iPhone 16 Pro drawing among the participants of the university video review contest. It will take place tomorrow! Also, as part of the career guidance campaign, the university hosted a subject Olympiad in Kazakh, Russian, English, German and French among grades 10-11 of secondary schools, lyceums and gymnasiums. 424 schoolchildren of North Kazakhstan region took part in it.
