"Darmarka" Eco-Fair: We Stand for Conscious Consumption

The Association of Environmental Organizations of Kazakhstan, within the framework of the "StopMusor" social project, in collaboration with five leading universities in the country, is organizing the "Darmarka" eco-fair for young people and all city residents, with the aim of drawing citizens' attention to conscious consumption.

At the Kozybayev University site, it will be held from February 10 to 12. "Darmarka" is a free fair where participants can bring items in good condition that they no longer use and take in return what they like. The collection of items (clothing, books, accessories, children's toys) for participation will take place from February 10 to 12 from 10:00 am to 5:00 pm at the following address: Building 2, Room 330.

"Darmarka" not only gives things a second life but also helps reduce the costs of producing, packaging, and delivering new goods. It helps to increase the environmental literacy and social responsibility of the population, as well as to form a culture of responsible disposal of household waste. This is a simple step towards conscious consumption, sustainable development of society and the environment.
