Police Officers Educate Students on Migration Law and Safety

Our university hosts 164 international students from 16 countries. Employees of the North Kazakhstan Region Police Department conducted an open lecture for them on migration law and safety issues.

The speakers focused on preventing offenses among young people. The students were informed about the consequences of participating in drug distribution, internet fraud, and other crimes that young people can be involved in. Criminal liability for drug trafficking, their advertising on the Internet, and participation in illegal schemes as "droppers" and "couriers" was particularly emphasized. Representatives of the migration service also explained to foreign students the rules of entry, stay, and exit from the Republic of Kazakhstan, their rights and obligations.
