University Opens Its Doors to Schoolchildren

Throughout the week, the university will be holding Open Days for schoolchildren of the city. On the first day, Kozybayev University was visited by 370 students from innovative schools, lyceums, and gymnasiums. Graduates of grades 10-12 visited modern laboratories, sat at the desks of classrooms, talked with students, and learned firsthand about the eventful student life. To familiarize themselves with the dormitories opened this year at the university, an excursion bus was organized.

Guests could ask their questions directly to deans and heads of departments. Most of all, applicants were interested in admission requirements, passing scores for grants, and educational programs. Students with knowledge of English and wishing to enroll in double-degree programs with the University of Arizona visited the university's International Campus, discussed education with foreign and local professors, and talked with third-year students who will go to Tucson (USA) for a semester next year.

Creative teams and student organizations also made their presentations: debate clubs, theaters, student union, CDM, Enactus, sports sections, and others. Schoolchildren were invited to play sports and board games, drink tea with delicious pastries, and take photos in the trendy locations of the new Educational and Laboratory Building.

The concert program and interactive competitions organized by our activists aroused particular interest among visitors. For example, the students gladly participated in a dance battle, the winners and prize-winners of which received gifts from sponsors-partners of the university.

Among the participants of the event, a competition for the best university review was announced. The main prize is an iPhone 16 Pro. For the most "popular" review (with the maximum number of likes) – the "Alice" station, for the most creative – wireless headphones. Schoolchildren who visited the Open Days, registered using the QR code, and created content that they must post on their Instagram or TikTok and tag #kozybayevuniversity can participate. Winners and prize-winners will be determined by the student body in a live broadcast on the university's official Instagram account on February 7 at 3:00 PM. Participate, everyone has a chance!
