Graduate Employment is a Priority

Kozybayev University has signed a memorandum with the North Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the "Auyl" party, which will contribute to the employment of university graduates. The regional branch of the "Auyl" party of the North Kazakhstan region is implementing the "Student and Youth Squads" program to promote working professions among young people.

"A memorandum has been signed to create youth squads in 10 areas: construction, ecology, pedagogy, veterinary medicine, agronomy, maintenance, and others, in which employment will be carried out. Our task is to provide young people with work not only during the holidays but also on a permanent basis. We are now working with employers. Already in April-May, we will send students to them. Our goal is also to enhance the image of the 'working person,'" said Kairat Pshenbayev, chairman of the North Kazakhstan Regional Branch of the "Auyl" party.

To form a practice-oriented approach in the training of specialists, dual education has been introduced at our university. This allows students to take classes at enterprises, acquire relevant competencies, get to know employers better, and subsequently find employment. "Our university participates in the 'Serpin' program. We have students from the Western and Southern regions of the country. The idea arose to assign such students who are studying in the agricultural field to members of the 'Auyl' party who are agricultural producers. There is a stereotype that people do not want to leave the city for the village. We need examples of successful people – farmers and managers – who will use their own example to talk about innovative farms where you can get a very good income," said Chairman of the Board – Rector Yerbol Isakayev.

Also within the framework of the memorandum, the parties will cooperate in the field of scientific, methodological, informational, analytical, and expert activities, and improving the professionalism of student youth.

In addition, it is planned to jointly carry out work to improve the qualifications of workers in the agricultural sector; organize professional internships for students, master's students, and PhD doctoral students; exchange experiences, conduct training seminars, training sessions, and internships.
