International Speech Therapist Day
On November 14, the world celebrates the International Speech Therapist Day – a professional holiday of representatives of one of the most important social professions. The purpose of the holiday is to inform humanity about the existence of the science of speech disorders and ways to eliminate them through special training. Future speech therapists of the Department of «Special and Social Pedagogy» of M. Kozybayev SKU have not forgotten about their professional holiday. So, the 2nd year students of the OP «Special Pedagogy» decorated the auditorium of the 5th building and placed colorful congratulatory newspapers, balloons, the 3rd year students of the OP «Special Pedagogy» under the guidance of the senior teacher of the SSP department Momot E.A., prepared a presentation about the history of speech therapy, interesting games and contests, diplomas, 4th year students of the OP Defectology (speech therapy) organized a tea party. The students not only enjoyed the holiday themselves, but also tried to inform others about it. The SSP Department congratulates all speech therapists on this holiday and wishes sounds of joy in life and clear words of inspiration, we wish you to skillfully correct diction defects and easily get rid of any shortcomings of every day!!!
